Your
new SUNTARRA SUNROOM will be attached to an existing
exterior wall of your home. The existing wall becomes the
fourth
wall of your new room. If you are including a SUNTARRA
SUNROOM in your new house plans, it will flow from an exterior
wall as a three-sided room unit.
The three SUNTARRA SUNROOM walls that are added or
included in your house design will include one or a combination
of four wall base options: a window
base (click to see) using
SUNTARRA fixed windows.
SUNTARRA walls can also use a combination of solid vinyl
interior/exterior base options, such
as architectural panels.
These solid insulated wall panels fit tightly into vertical
and
horizontal framing to create an uninterrupted wall appearance.
Architectural panels may also be used in the interior for
a
dramatic, panel base and to ensure a R-15 value in the
panel area.
Another method used to finish the lower portion of your
SUNTARRA walls is to
skirt (click to see) the exterior area
below your windows with materials that match the exterior
walls of your house.
Completing your design with architectural panels or exterior
skirting with interior insulated panels allows more lower
solid
wall area for the placement of seating or other furniture
against
a solid wall. Windows-to-the-floor designs give added light
and
are a perfect complement to open furniture plans.
Even when windows stretch ceiling to floor, with SUNTARRA
engineered components, you can incorporate special-purpose
solid panels to facilitate the installation of heating and/or
cooling room units. These special panels are called
HVAC
panels (click to see). Your dealer will
be your best guide to the
specific application for your home.
SUNTARRA SUNROOMS may also be designed to include a
special-purpose panel designed to accept an access door
for
your pet. Your dealer or designer can help you position
these in
your design. HVAC and pet panels are options.
