the original purchaser homeowner, under the terms and conditions
stated herein. For the purposes of this warranty, lifetime
is
defined as the entire period of time that the original purchaser
homeowner owns and resides in the home upon which the Sunroom
was installed.
Vinyl
Framing Components: Lifetime Non-Prorated All vinyl
lineal components will be free from defects in material
and
workmanship. The vinyl is warranted to be the same color
throughout and will not pit, corrode, peel, rot, rust or
blister for
the lifetime of the product to the original purchaser homeowner.

vinyl windows and patio doors, under normal use and service,
will be free from defects in material and workmanship for
the
lifetime of the product to the original purchaser homeowner.

the
lifetime of the product to the original purchaser homeowner.
If the insulated glass unit fails, Comfort Line will provide
a
replacement insulated glass component at no charge, F.O.B.
Comfort Lines manufacturing facility.
A
failed component is one that develops a significant
obstruction of vision as a result of film formation caused
by
dust or moisture in the sealed air space, caused by failure
of
the hermetic seal. Small marks, scratches and spots, which
do not exceed our company standards or federal government
specifications (ASTM C-1036-91-Q3) are not considered as
defects and are not covered under this Warranty. Specialty
leaded glass is also excluded from this Warranty.
Screens:
Lifetime Non-Prorated All screens, under normal
use and service, will be free from defects in material and
workmanship. Both the aluminum framing material and the
fiberglass screen cloth are warranted against rotting, rusting
or staining for the lifetime of the product to the original
purchaser homeowner. This Warranty does not apply to torn
or ripped screens.
Laminated
Roof, Wall and Floor Panels: 10 Years
Non-Prorated All laminated roof, wall and floor panels
are
warranted against cracking, chipping, peeling, blistering
and material delamination for a period of ten (10) years
from
the original date of installation. Floor panels must be
properly
protected from moisture and covered with an appropriate
floor covering in order to qualify for Warranty coverage.
Skylights:
10 Years Non-Prorated Skylights are warranted
to be free from any manufacturing defects for ten (10) years
from the original date of installation.
Steel
Swinging Entry Doors: 10 Years Non-Prorated
Steel door slabs will not warp or delaminate so as to cause
the installed unit to function improperly for a period of
ten
(10) years from the original date of installation. Warp
of a
steel door slab will not be considered a defect unless it
exceeds 1/4 in the plane of the door slab itself.
Cleaning
The vinyl surfaces of the Sunroom should be
cleaned with mild soap and water only. The use of abrasive
or strong chemical cleaners can cause permanent damage to
the finish and is not covered under this warranty. All locking
mechanisms should be cleaned and lubricated every winter
with a silicone type spray.
Caulking
Caulking is used to seal the seams of the Sunroom
against air and water infiltration. Caulking is not a part
of the
Sunroom and is not covered under this Warranty. Initial
application of caulking is a responsibility of the installing
dealer. Subsequent applications of caulking are the
responsibility of the homeowner.
Color
The vinyl surfaces of the Sunroom are designed
to maintain original color characteristics, however,
atmospheric conditions and sun exposure may cause
some fading over time. Fading is a normal part of the
weathering process and is not covered under this Warranty.
Condensation
Condensation on the interior of the Sunroom
is a natural result of excessive moisture in the air.
Condensation does not indicate a defective product or
faulty installation and is not covered under this Warranty.
Additional information on condensation causes and cures
is available from Comfort Line upon request.
Installation
Comfort Line specifications and installation
instructions must be followed to validate this Warranty.
Any installation variance or change not recommended or
approved by Comfort Line, or the installation of a
Comfort Line Sunroom on an improperly footed deck or slab,
will void this Warranty.
Non-Residential
Installations This Warranty does not
apply to Sunrooms installed onto any building not used by
individual homeowners as their primary residence, including,
but not limited to buildings owned in whole or in part by
corporations, governmental entities, religious organizations,
condominiums or cooperative housing arrangements. For
such intangible entities capable of an infinite life, the
duration of the Warranty is ten (10) years and is
non-transferable.
Selection

Comfort Line Sunroom to conform to any and all local
applicable laws, ordinances, building codes and safety
requirements is the sole responsibility of the dealer,
architect, property owner or contractor. Comfort Line
assumes no responsibility and makes no Warranty with
respect to use or compliance with such law.
